What you will learn
- How to check attendance class by class
- What each status means
Attendance shows the registers that concern you: one row per class, with what they were marked and who recorded it.
- Present
- They attended, on time.
- Late
- They attended, after the class started.
- Absent
- They did not attend, and it was not agreed in advance.
- Excused
- They did not attend, and it was agreed beforehand.
Step 1. Click Attendance in the left-hand menu.
Step 2. Use Status to show only absences, for example.
Step 3. Read the Recorded column to see when it was marked, and by which tutor.
Attendance records & official verification
The attendance register is the official classroom record maintained by the course instructor. If a session record requires verification or an excused absence was not reflected, message the school through Messages.
What you should see
You can see exactly which classes were attended and which were missed.
Helpful tips
- Filter by Absent to see every missed class at once. A run of them close together usually means something.
If something goes wrong
- Attendance shows 0% but they have been going.
- The register may not have been taken yet for recent classes. Check the dates in the list before worrying.
