What you will learn

  • How the LMS calculation engine computes weighted standings
  • How to select a cohort and expand employee component breakdowns
  • What 'so far incomplete' means versus final certification grades

The Performance workspace reveals the exact arithmetic engine behind each employee's academic standing. Standing is computed from the course's accredited grading scheme, reflecting precise component weightings.

Inspecting Cohort Performance

  1. Step 1. Select Performance from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Step 2. In the Batch selector, choose the cohort you wish to audit (e.g. 11429).

  3. Step 3. Review the list of students, their current standing percentage, and provisional letter grade.

  4. Step 4. Click an employee's row to expand their full component breakdown.

Component Breakdown Table

Component
Evaluation category (Assignments, Attendance, Examinations, Practical, Quizzes).
Weight
The accredited percentage contribution to the final grade (e.g. 40.00% for Examinations).
Marks
Number of completed deliverables scored versus total deliverables set.
Scored
Raw percentage mark achieved on that specific component.
Contributes
Calculated point contribution to the overall grade (e.g. 26.40 points).
Status
Displays Counted if graded, or Not yet assessed / excluded from total if pending.

Understanding 'So Far Incomplete' Standings

During an active cohort, the standing reflects only the components assessed to date. A provisional score of 53.63% indicates the learner's current standing across submitted work, not a final failing grade. Final grades are locked once all weighted components conclude.

Helpful tips

  • Check whether Attendance itself carries an academic weighting in the breakdown (often 10%–15%).
